I have a love/hate relationship with Grey's right now. I like that Bailey has someone in her life, but, I feel that there is absolutely too much bed hopping going on. I know this is a grown folks show, but brilliant surgeons do not have time to hop in the sack everytime their world is about to come crashing down, as these folk seem to enjoy doing. Yes, the show is more exciting again, and that is a plus. Don't care for Owen either, that fine young intern with the pretty eyes....I want to see how that relationship develops. Private Practice was "the show that comes on after Gray's", and although I watch a little now, these characters don't excite me like the Seattle Grace Folks....I guess they seem very contrived, and don't seem like real people so much. That is important in a hour long drama, I guess they are not very relatable to me.

ok I know I'm late and no I have not read the other comments but OMG I LOVE YOU for this post. After watching the show last week I scoured FB and the GA blogs for some semblance of the excitement I was experiencing about Dr. Bailey and the grown folks love.Finally the one black woman on the show has a love life and finally there is a relationship that does not begin and end with sex. Thank you for matching my excitement.

I'm all about Shonda Rhimes, whatever she does I will follow but Private Practice went WAY too far this season. None of the black people are remotely likeable to me any more. I'm holding my breath on Grey's. If they make Miranda into some sort of d-whipped chick more concerned with her man than her medicine, I'm done with that too.

Love Grey's & Private Practice. I don't like the guy playing Bailey's love interest, mostly because in my mind he'll always be the boyfriend on Eve and I didn't care for him on there.

I'm glad that we've seen the last of Izzy. Whatever episode she appeared in a few weeks ago was it for her. I liked her storyline with Denny, but she did become rather annoying on the show and in real life. I felt like she slapped Shonda Rhimes and the other writers in the face when she pulled herself from Emmy contention because she felt she hadn't been given good material. She should have gracefully bowed out of the show at that point instead of sticking around and become a boil on the butt of Seattle Grace.

I was glad to see George leave as well. Like Katherine Heigl, I couldn't separate his offscreen BS from his onscreen persona. My greatest wish, now that the two whiners are gone, is that they bring back Burke and get rid of Owen (who is nowhere near sexy or cute, but is much closer to demented and fugly).

Private Practice had to grow on me. It's kind of like the adult version of Grey's, though it's jumped the shark this season. I'm hoping the writers can right the ship and get it back on course. They might want to start with bring Addison back from the brink of hoedom.

I LOVE this show. I, like you, have been watching since it's inception (gotta support my fellow Houstonians). I'm glad that they are FINALLY giving Miranda a life...I was kinda sad about the Chief having such a hard story line (infidelity, alcohol abuse, etc.) but I got over it. I'm still trying to get into Private Practice but I think it's a lost cause...as fine as I think Taye Diggs (Winston/Harper Stewart/Roland/Dre Ellis), I think the show needs to go...but that's just my opinion.
