Much in the same vane as Dave Chappelle, I must admit that "my blackness wont allow me" to find fault in Michael Steele. The man is under enormous pressure and is required to walk a tightrope.

Clearly, the Republican party is in shambles. Clearly, they can't wait to see Steele fail. Because, recently, the only thing that the GOP has been successful at is silencing leaders and being ineffective.

What friends does Steele have? Who is on his side? Nobody. I think that we need to root for Steele to succeed. Ten years ago, he would have been referred to as the token hire. However, the man has credentials and some level of skill. That makes him far from the token hire, much more like the fall guy who shares the same skin color as POTUS. Can you see how quick the race comparisons will come should Steele fail?

Looking at the big picture, the Republican party needs a credible voice and clear direction. It is my hope that the voice and direction of the GOP is both reasonable and more moderate. I can't name any former chairperson of the Republican Party. Therefore, Steele is in foreign territory, not just for bouge, not even just for bruthas, but a first of its kind s-storm.

The only issue I have with Mr. Steel’s (in this video) is his implying the Republication party had something to do with the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.
