LOL. My parents were also the same about school. Not only was I expected to bring home straight A&amp;#39;s and graduate college, I was also expected to get a master&amp;#39;s. I had no idea that people didn&amp;#39;t graduate high school until 12th grade. I had NO IDEA that people didn&amp;#39;t go to college right after high school and then go on to get jobs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;People still drop out of high school? What you talkin&amp;#39; bout Willis?! Seriously, call it naive or moving through life with blinders on, or whatever... but that&amp;#39;s where I was.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So to read anybody suggesting that education is not the answer BOTHERS me. Somebody please point to me a non-educated successful person.
