While some of your comments have some merit, you do a grave injustice to black women and black men by shoveling the responsibility for oppressing black women on black men! For the black men who belittle and demean black women, there are many who lift them up and hold them in the highest regard as mates, mothers, educators, business women, family foundations, etc. I won&#39;t offer any solutions because, as the author points out, the failure and success of relationships are often dictated by the two parties involved, and nothing or no one else.
