I will admit to not paying a ton of attention to new shows this fall. I tried to pick up a few shows in the past few months (Boss - good but too dark for me) and I started watching Breaking Bad from Season One on Amazon Prime.
I didn't stay faithfully glued to Boardwalk Empire though I watched the premiere and I was also happy to see the return of Treme. House of Lies was a brilliantly satirical look at the life of consultants led by the always impressive Don Cheadle. I had mixed emotions about The Closer series wrap-up and I couldn't get into Major Crimes, the spinoff. As usual, I enjoyed every episode of Leverage and can't wait for it to come back in late fall.
But what I'm really looking forward to? Scandal tonight. After that first season, what in the world will Olivia Pope do next? Someone pointed out to be that Scandal is messier than any of the hot mess reality TV shows I routinely ignore. Yes. I know. But it's FICTION. And well written at that.
Grey's Anatomy kicks off season gazillion tonight and I just don't know. Seems like Shondra Rhimes has milked that puppy dry and is going straight for a visceral punch in the gut every episode. Until the chief or Bailey get a love interest they are allowed to keep, I'm side-eyeing the show with arms crossed.
Also looking forward to the return of The Good Wife. The plot appears to have come full circle so you just know the writers will shake that up. I'll also check out this new drama with Andre Braugher, I've never seen him be less than excellent (in in that poor slapped together Ray Romano show I can't remember the name of).
I have definitely turned a corner on Criminal Minds. It has gone from fascinating me to scaring the shiggity out of me. I caught a little bit of Mindy Kaling's new show which seemed amusing. I also caught about ten minutes of Guys with Kids with Anthony Anderson and Tempestt Bledsoe - umm, not so much.
So BnB'ers - what's on your Must See TV list this fall? Anything new we need to know about? Do share...

The Walking Dead <--- must watch show.
Also, Boardwalk Empire is one of my favorite shows on television. I started watching Revolution (2 episodes so far). It seems like a pretty interesting show.
Sons of Anarchy - a little violent and graphic but really good. I want to watch Scandal but missed the entire first season. Is Scandal on netflix?
Yes. I will watch Scandal. More Kerry in lacy things. Yes indeed.
Homeland is good too
I'm hooked on Sons of Anarchy Season 5. Started off with a bang and hasn't stopped yet. I'm in love with most of the characters and there are a few I'd kill on sight! Love it!
Netflix has it! http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Scandal/70197057
I definitely tried to watch "Guys with Kids". I thought it was cute, but the jury is still out. I caught a little bit of "Partners"; I need to see a full episode to give an accurate review. I was salivating all summer for the premiere of L&O: SVU, which came on last night. There was WAY too much going on. And I'm even more perturbed that I have to wait TWO weeks for a new episode. WDDDA. Like you, I cannot WAIT until 10 o'clock tonight to watch "Scandal". I'm more excited about that than GA...
Looking forward to Scandal! I have been told repeatedly to watch Boss but I haven't so far.
the season premiere of Castle was pretty good.......
Law & Order SVU is my SHOW!!! and the season premiere last night did not disappoint.
I can't wait for Scandal and The Good Wife, love them both.
I'm gonna try to watch Guys with Kids, 666 Park Ave, Vegas, Chicago Fire
Castle, Scandal, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, NCIS, SVU and Homeland are still on my list of must see. Grey's, The Mentalist, Boss, Bones and a few others are on my leave it list right now.
YES to Scandal! My lineup is mostly reality these days. But in addition to all that I want to check out the premiere of Last Resort tonight, waiting for the fall showing of Leverage, I want to check out 666 Park Avenue, Bones, and Fringe. Also waiting for Dallas to come back but I don't think that's until January. I thought about Elementary but it'll make me mad since Sherlock is so good.
Thank you for reminding me about Scandal coming back on tonight, yes!!! I must know, who IS Quinn Perkins? This show is mad addictive!
I'm thinking about checking out Elementary, the lead character was serving a wonderful Sherlock Holmes in the preview. I may check out Last Resort just to see what the heck it's supposed to be about. I've checked out The New Normal, something about it kinda irks me, something about it I sorta like, doubt I keep up with it.
Definitely Scandal and Good Wife. I also want to see 'Last Resort' because I adore Andre Braugher and 'Nashville' because I like Connie Britton.
Iyanla Fix My Life & Scandal....I'll be ready for the responses on Twitter.
Once Upon A Time, Law and Order SVU and don't judge me, the new season of Maury. **Hangs head in shame at Maury**
I love Once Upon A Time.
Thanks for reminder about "Scandal" tonight. I kinda wanna see "Grey's Anatomy" only to see who died, but IMO, the show has jumped the shark. Glad "Treme" and "Good Wife" are back. I am also waiting to see the revised version of "Steele Magnolias" with Queen Latifah, Jill Scott etc. next Sunday. I'm glad I saw a commercial about it on some other network; as I rarely watch Lifetime, I would not have known about the show.
For me, Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Scandal, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Raising Hope. I watched the New Normal and I LOVE that show. I'm such a TV person....
Scandal!!! L&O SVU of course. Saw the first episode of ANTM (DVR, don't judge me), but don't know if I'll be able to get past Tyra's face work among a few other things. :-/ Going to look at the 2nd ep before I decide. Iyanla, most definitely and may be hooked on Save My Son (caught an ep last night).
I am such a TV junkie!!!! I am counting down to Scandal! I have watched Grey's from day one and this needs to be the LAST season same with Private Practice. I would love to see Shonda give us an all black family drama show like Soul Food.
I am ready for Amazing Race and Good Wife on Sunday.
"Last Resort"
"666 Park Avenue"
"The Neighbors"
"Sons of Anarchy"
"Fringe"
"Revolution" - I'm trying to give this show a good chance, but it's failing badly.
"Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo" <---Do not judge me!
Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Andre Braugher's new show (missed first episode), Dexter, Homeland, Modern Family (gotta get the laughs in), Grimm ...

My fall line-up consists of Hawaii Five-O on Mondays, NCIS/NCIS LA and Sons of Anarchy on Tuesdays, and Person of Interest on Thursdays
I love Scandal, Major Crimes (the writing got a lot better after the first few episodes), Iyanla Fix My Life (she goes all the way in), Law and Order SVU, The Big Bang Theory, and so many more. My DVR definitely gets a workout as I am not always home to watch all of these shows
TV junkie here!! I will tune in to Scandal, Revenge, Walking Dead, Revolution, Vampire Diaries (don't judge me) and Fringe. I hate that Fringe is ending, but I hope they go out batting a thousand!!
New shows - LAST RESORT - Andre Braugher - nuf said.
I love me some Person of Interest. Scandal, Revenge, Once Upon A Time. Enjoying Grimm. I'm trying to give Revolution a chance, but it's losing me. Love Fringe, Warehouse 13. I also liked Elementary.
I haven’t really watched any of the shows you’re
talking about, but I am excited that Revenge and Once Upon a Time are back in
my primetime lineup. They both premiered Sunday night, but I unfortunately
haven’t gotten a chance to watch them yet. Luckily they recorded with my
Hopper’s PrimeTime Anytime feature, so I can catch up with both shows tonight
commercial-free with Auto Hop. I’ve heard some fantastic reviews from coworkers
of mine at DISH about both shows too, so I can’t wait to finally be sucked back
into the drama! It seems to me like all the networks waited until the end of
the month to premiere all the good shows! :)
Parenthood, Psych and Person of Interest. Will check out Iyanla.
