The Dude has somehow managed to catch pneumonia in the sunniest place on the planet. :-/ So back to Dallas for some recuperation. I'm polishing up submittal chapters of Book 4 and transferring files from my old laptop to my new. Next time, I'm totally Geek Squading this operation. Just getting Microsoft Outlook set up the way I like has been an exercise in patience (something I'm sorely lacking). And let's not even talk about the day job. Training a new girl, juggling 20+ open positions and trying to keep my pleasing personality. I'm not about this entire juggle struggle life right now.
All of that to say, no post today. It's on you. What's good in your world, fine people? Do share...

I'm good. No complaints. Tell Le Dude to get better soon!
What's good? This freakin' weekend, bay-bee!
Drinks up at 4:00pm this evening.
The biggest thing I have going is training for the Green Bay Half-marathon, I'm raising $ for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All this training has me tired & sore, but its well worth it. :-)
all i want to say is don't use the geek squad (waste of time and money). as someone who used to work in IT, your best bet is to find someone you trust and let them do it for you.
feel better.
I am super duper excited to announce after 6 months of unemployment, I now have a bonafied J-O-B (with benefits!) and I no longer HAVE to work my part-time job. Today marks the end of Week 2, and I am in love with my new company. Oh, and one of my favorite sorors is getting married tomorrow, so Black Love is all in the air! Have a great weekend, folks!
Yessir! I'll be headed to an open bar at 5.
Oh, and what's good is NCAA basketball. I won't be talking to anyone until April.
I"m feeling better after two weeks of Sinuses from Hell, and now I can get on with my project again!
Allergies kicking my tail. Trying to work on this group project and group members are acting like they are not in grad school. Le Sigh!
Wishing a speedy recovery to Dude because pneumonia is no joke.
I am looking forward to a weekend to myself to do some shopping and relaxing by the beach. Yay Me!!!
Man, I hated group projects for that very reason - folks not pulling their weight, and riding on your coattails for a grade (because they just KNOW you're not about to fail anything!). Best of luck with the project, and you're allergies!
Congratulations!!!
Well wishes for The Dude, hope he's feeling better real soon!
I will be moving this weekend! And because of the BS that my job calls a smooth transition, I have hired movers to pack as well as dissemble and reassemble my ish! I's ti-yeard!!!
*Doing my James Brown slide into the room*
WHERE MACEO AT?!?! I wanna jump back and kiss ma-self!
I got an A on my research paper, averaging out to an A! Both courses received an A. And work is challenging and awesome.
I FEEL GOOD! dah da dah da dah da duh! *Maceo throws my cape on my shoulders as I catwalk off stage right*
Throwing prayers and good feelings to David. Feel better and let somebody pamper you! Then get back on top of things!
WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! Back on the grind again! It feels good, huh?
I no longer have to share my car with the hubby. I don't know how to act.
Wishing the Dude a speedy recovery.
well done! :-)
Legal shenanigans turned into legal win. Weather is getting better, I'm chilling.
Life is good.

CO.SIGN. These are the reasons I don't like groups. Every time I've done it, it has turned out ok, but I hate the fact I have to depend on other folks for a good grade. I am a conservative when it comes to school work--personal responsibility all the way.
You have NO idea!!! I feel like I've been re-born and can finally have my life back to do the fun stuff!
Thank you!
Thank you!
