Last night... John's holiday party. Epic blog fodder. Trey brings a date that everyone actually likes. Jay gets embarrassed by his past (and David's). The sentence "Let me be Herman to your Ginger" was actually uttered. John makes an announcement. Someone's mother shows up to the party on one too many peppermint schnapps shots. All of that... coming soon. I'm still recovering.

I'm cleaning house and wrapping gifts today so that I have more time to prepare for two holiday parties and a progressive dinner this weekend. Also, finally baking to the cookies that I was supposed to bake two weeks ago. Hope everyone is having a much more restful weekend!

Um. Weekend plans include going skating and trying not to bust up any body parts (I'm better on wheels..but half decent on ice). Celebrating not having any events on the weekend!! (Im an event planner).

This evening is going to be so hectic for me! Mya has a track meet (1st time running with high school girls), I have my job's Christmas party and rehearsal for a play on Sunday. God give me strength! Jesus be some Red Bull (cause I will not touch the stuff)!
I will be spending Saturday with the new love of my life, Cheeks! We bonded and fell in love about 2 weeks ago and Saturday I will have him all to myself. Well, not really because I have to share him with Mya! I don't know what I'm going to get him for Christmas! I was in a sports store last night and thought I had found the perfect gift! But they were all out of Steelers bibs!...LOL!!!
Today is the last day of school this year! We have a Reader's Theater assembly, I'm having a holiday party in my class this afternoon, and the staff holiday party is tonight. I love my students, but I'm looking forward to not setting foot in a classroom for a few weeks.
No weekend plans, but Tuesday my boyfriend and I are going on a mini-vacation to wine country (we found a good deal on Living Social). We have two tastings booked plus a couples' massage. I swear by deal sites (Groupon, Lifebooker, etc.). They are perfect for Bougie on a budget. ;-)
Thank you everyone for your comments. The painkillers have worn off and I need to fill out my prescription. Other than that I am well. I am waiting to hear about the holiday party. I'm sure it'll be good for the lulz.

Weekend plans? Not.Embarrassing.Myself. We had office get together at the gig last night. It was um interesting. It was held at office so couldn't get too crazy. They served an excellent Cabernet! Food was okay ... usual corporate light refreshments catered in.

I'll have hubby get the kids out of the house so I can wrap the presents for my little tax deductions and hide them again.

I have a busy weekend planned, and my job is still trying to kill me. I asked Santa to bring me a new job or a sugar daddy for Christmas...and I'd rather have the sugar daddy #IJS.

I am actually packing. My application for emigration to Australia was approved, and moving day is in two weeks Because you wait for years and then it all happens at once! Anybody in NC want to buy a gorgeous and well-loved 2009 Honda Metro? 'Cause storage for months is bad for scooters. :(

Nope Gamma, it won't be official until Mya has a baby! LOL!!! This is just one more to add to my list of "other people's babies" that I have taken over. The other ones are all grown now, so I have to start over.
Today's my day off. Good cuz I's tired. My roommate's graduation was yesterday so I went straight from work to that. Currently sitting @ home waiting for the last of the Christmas gifts I ordered to be delivered. And this weekend? Nada.
