It's TV week on BnB

Summer TV season is well underway. Treme has already come and gone. USA has debuted a new slate of shows. This week a few more cable blockbusters are coming back. Reportedly, this is the last season for two perennial favorites, The Closer and Entourage. I thought it was time to take a look at what's keeping us glued to those remotes.

Swing by and share your thoughts, won't you?

For me, I'm looking forward to Breaking Bad, Project Runway, The Closer, and hopefully a lot of really good tennis featuring at least one Williams sister.

Not a big fan of summer television.  I'll probably follow Project Runway and maybe some Big Brother - as a social project and background noise when I'm home. Other than that, my plan is to busy.

As Bougieland's one and only self-admitted TV junkie (to my knowledge),  I'll be watching as many shows as I can :).   My "must see dramas" and why I'll keep the cable bill paid up are The Closer, Breaking Bad, and Rescue Me.  I've really, really tried to get back into Hawthorne this season as folk tell me I gave up too soon last season but 3 episodes in and I'm already rolling my eyes.  My lighthearted fill ins are Drop Dead Diva, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Leverage, and the sophomoric but surprisingly cute Franklin & Bash.    Reality TV wise, I'll be all in on Project Runway, Next Food Network Star and to some extent Big Brother.

My current summer fav is Royal Pains (have watched every summer since it started) and I'm starting to get into Necessary Roughness.  I'll admit that I only started watching because of Mehcad Brooks, but it's starting to grow on me.  I need to add The Closer, Project Runway and Next Food Network Star to my dvr lineup.

I suspect AMC's "Hell on Wheels" will be a very, very good, though controversial, show and I'm not saying that just because I'm in it.  Former rapper and actually very capable actor Common (along with other vague familiar faces) is in it too and several episodes so far are directed by "Breaking Bad" directors.  I only get bits and piece of the story, but it seems very well written and it's certainly well produced and acted!  Just sayin'.
