President Obeezy is sick of y'all... and a musical shout out

Friday afternoon, Prez 44 strolled to the podium with Diamond Bill in tow to chat about these freakin'-deakin' tax cuts one mo' good time. He was clearly over the entire discussion on Monday when he explained (with clenched jaw, steely gaze, and tight tone) that he did what he had to due because the Republicans are holding the American people hostage and the Democrats wouldn't shake their asses to get things done when they had the votes to do it. [Uh that's my translation of what he said anyway]

He wasn't feeling it Friday, Clinton was getting a little long-winded and on top of that, Prez Barry had a date with his wife. Given the choice between jaw-boning with the press corps over stuff he already said or taking his lovely wife out? He bounced. Besides, it's not like Clinton hadn't "been there - done that".

I'm sorry, I thought it was hilarious and more than a little gangsta. He basically passed the mic and said, "Yeah uh, Bill's got this. I'm out." Bruh rolled out and did not look back. Calm down people, it's not like he left Bill with his finger on the button or in the Oval Office with some interns. For all of those who tuned in, wondered if it was 1996 or if Prez 44 took leave of his senses, I give you today's video shout out: Janet Jackson's Got 'Til It's Gone

What did y'all think of Obama bailing on his own briefing? Any musical shout outs today?

This whole week reinforces why I will NEVER involve myself in Politics for a living. POTUS trotted out everyone's favorite Democrat at 5something on FRIDAY, thus making for the most significant Friday afternoon News Dump in History.

Bill Clinton, attention whore that he is...was more than happy to oblige.

I wish I WOULD, as POTUS...linger around after COB on Friday over some Shi...ggidy that should have been handled before I even got to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

And Keep Michelle Waiting?

Yall got POTUS all messed up.

It is my wish that he does this more often. Since his inauguration (and a few weeks before) He has been constantly disrespected and attempts to bait him into some sort of squabble has not let up. At no other time in history has the president had to deal with folks calling his legitimacy into question, military folks claiming they do not have to listen to him, and being called at the same time a socialist, liberal, communist, fascist, elitist nazi. He is expected to cure the ills in a couple of years that took over a decade to build.

I am not naive, nor do I blindly co-sign every single thing he does. But it is disappointing and it pisses me off to hear people say they want him to get "gangsta", or stop being a wimp. What other president has been disrespected in this way. I can't even watch Bill Maher without wanting to crack him in his nugget. We wanted a president that thought about his actions, and worked with both parties. However, he is at loggerheads with a recalcitrant GOP that screams out during the State of the Union address (never happened before) and openly wonders if he is a citizen of this country, rather than sitting their asses down and getting the work done. I mean - since when does an ignorant, bigoted minority get to dictate the terms that the rest of the nation has to follow?

Sorry about the Saturday morning rant - I ate my Wheaties this morning. And the JJ video is awesome!

Thanks for the video, missed it yesterday. Yes, POTUS attitude there is, I will only say it once. This is not grade school. I need those democrats in the congress to get to work, such lame ducks.

A President who has his priorities in order, acts on said priorities, and doesn't let people with their own bulls*ht agendas get in his way?

Me likey.

The point seemed to be to let Big Bill co-sign it, no reason for Pres O to be there. I wished the clip showed his whole walk out the room, never looking back!

My question: did Pres utilize a smooth glide or a slow bop like Martin's "Bruh man from Da Fif Flo" when we walked out?

I deal with the press, often. They want interviews and want to ask you the same question over and Over...and OVER. They get snippy when you don't answer the SAME question over and over. They feel like they're owed constant attention and interviews because they have a paper/TV space to fill up. I've had them tell me just that. One media person here once said (working from memory here)), "well I have a job to do and a paper to fill, so can you just answer the questions." My response: Radio Silence. Next time I will copy Pres O and do a cool walk out.

This needs to be done way more often that it actually is. LOVED IT

ohh man He needs to do this more often, throw the deuces next time. LMAO Nice, let them know He doesn't have to do this crap or like this video states, (i know, I know hood goblin shiggity, but my sister brought it to my attention I was cracking up) imagine if he just said that one line at the beginning of a meeting with the Rep?? i would pay to be a fly on that wall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ-hPNrKdZI.

Loving this, He's getting tired of having to get someone to co-sign everything He does, and I don't blame him. Why should he have to bring Clinton in for these dummies to get it?? It's like getting the overseers approval before massah (yes that how we Jamaicans say it) will accept it. UGH straight ignorant crap.

LMBO! I cackled when i watched that clip. I honestly love how devoted he is to his wife and I can't blame him. I would have had all the tact of Shanaynay from the block "I'll holla! Peace, trick!" God bless him for keeping it classy.

LOVED it! I thought that he couldn't have handled the situation more superbly and the only thing that would have made the above video better would have been completely showing him walking out of the room and not looking back. Besides, Michelle was more important than the press devils anyway!

HA!!! I absolutely LOVE this man! With all due respect to Mrs. Obama. He shows how a woman is supposed to be treated, loved and respected! I love the pact that he and Clinton have about what they discuss. But I truly love that he felt it more important to go and "date" his wife than to stand there one-mo-gain and explain himself to you folks who are not LISTENING! Gansta at it's finest! Peace, I'm out, 5000 G, yall get the deuces!

If more men (and women) would be more concerned with keeping a happy home than what other people (my homies/girls) think, we could get so much further in life.

The only thing that could have made this better is if he had chucked deuces on the way out...

Our president is awesome!

Only you would combine Pres. Obama, J Dilla, and Joni Mitchell in one post.

Loved it!!! President Obama is tired of the BS and has a beautiful wife that he is not about to piss off, not even to apease CNN. I don't know what I love more, the chucking of deuces to the press or the honor and love toward his wife. Go Obama!!!

I only wished that Chris Brown's "Deuces" played in the background as he left the podium. LOL!
