Why this will-Spring-ever-come weather is President Obama’s fault…

Yes, yes - I have the latest. Something else for the conspiracy theorists to kick around. This crazy weather is not climate shift, global warming or environmental pay-the-piper time. It is the direct fault of the 44th President of these here US of As. You know why? Because for more than 200 years, folks of all races, colors and creeds uttered these words:

It will be a cold day in Hell before a Black Man is elected President of the United States of America.

And here you have it…

p.s. Who's in on the collection to bribe Mother Nature to kick-start spring? I am WAY over winter.

LOL! You got jokes but that's real. It freakin' freezing. And now the earthquakes and tsunamis and whatnot - ya'll better get right!

MOther Nature being real bitchy right about now. Let's buy her a mojito and get Father Time to whisper in her ear or SOMETHING!

*sigh* No, I don't believe that nature is a direct result of human behavior at least in the short term. The earth quakes, bad winters, floods and other natural difficulties are there because they are there. Yes, I too am tired of winter. I miss my early morning fresh air runs and the bird songs. But I don't blame the bad winter on the President. I know you were probably joking. Perhaps people have been saying what you put in bold above, but I'm not one of them. This morning I did a google search of the phrase "The Power of Positive Thinking." I had forgotten where it came from. To explain why this has been on my mind would send this comment into the 'too much information' zone. But I will say that I've been thinking that I need to find some sources of inspiration and actively replenish the optimism and cheerfulness that used to be a large part of who I am. The powers of negativity won't win unless you let them. I'd say you need to buy yourself a big bunch of spring inspired flowers and put them in full view of where you spend most of your time. Best of wishes.

Typical - if they had done ANY research (I know Republicans are loathe to actually know what they're talking about), they would know that the increased severity of winter conditions is BECAUSE of the global warming but hey, that would be asking them to listen to reason... can't have that. LOL!

LOL - Already done. And in typical Dallas fashion, it was 32 this morning and 72 by this afternoon...

LMAO - do we want Father Time and Mother Nature hookin' up? If they split up, that could go badly for us...

He-he-he! Too funny, here's my contribution to the Mother Nature bribe. She is trippin' for real. You know this means 100 degrees all summer long, right? Ugh.

We are lucky here if it gets up to 32 degrees in the afternoon :-) I took my own advice and bought some flowers this morning at the grocery store. They are a mixture of pink and yellow carnations, white daisies, pink and white small lilies and an orange pink flower that I don't know. I can't help but smile when I look at it. I think in another life I would have liked to be a florist or gardener - maybe when I retire :-)
